2. Service history
Evidence that a car has been looked after reassures future owners that things aren’t going to go wrong at an unsustainable rate. Knowing when certain repairs were carried out can help whoever buys your car next know when to expect replacements to be due. Therefore, stamps in the service book and repair receipts will increase the price we offer you.
3. A younger car

1. We use our experience
With knowledge of the used car market and with access to the necessary systems required to get an accurate idea of market value, we used our years of experience to our advantage. We’ve seen (and valued) most cars, so we generally know what we’re looking at, and how to find out what the going rate is.
2. We consider condition, mileage and specification
Added extras, low mileage and immaculate paintwork will of course affect the price, so if your car is in possession of some or all of these things, it’s only fair that you see it reflected in the valuation we give you.
What do you need in order to sell your car with Avalon?
In order for us to process the sale of your car, we will need to see your photocard driving license with you as proof of identity.
Also essential to a fuss-free sale, you’ll need to have the following items with you:
- V5 Registration document -You must be the registered keeper of the vehicle and should bring along your photo ID (Driving Licence) showing the same name as the name on the registration (V5) document.
- Any spare keys
- The locking wheel nut key (for alloys)
- All service records
- The sat nav media or SD card, if applicable
